SURFING
One of the most popular and informative sites in the UK is www.magicseaweed.com. It has ‘intelligent webcams designed for surfers” and thorough analysis on surfing sites throughout the UK and Ireland. At the bottom of this post is an Equipment list.
Jack and James learnt to surf from the age of 7 and 9 in Sennen and Gwenver in West Cornwall, and, Newquay Cornwall.
I highly recommend Sennen Cove Surfing which is pretty much on the beach. The instructors are excellent and it is not far to carry the surf boards.
A friend’s son who has been surfing since 7 is now at a University where he can surf. The location near good surfing definitely surpassed the subject of the degree, fortunately he got both. Whereas most students worry about where to park their cars, he was worried about where to store his surfboardS.
“It’s the adrenaline rush, being part of the waves. Just me and the waves. I go onto magicseaweed just to see if there are waves … height of surf, swell ….
(Initially he was concerned that his family and friends would be concerned he checks on magicseaweed, but we figured they already knew!).
If you are surfing without instructors …
You will need to:
Know How to read a surf report.
- Wave height, and period.
- Swell direction tide,
- how does it affect the waves in your area.

SURFER OF THE MONTH.
I became entranced watching, or “Surfer of the Month” or the extreme “Surfer, The Best Surf Clips” shouting at the screen as they defied the ocean (and death).
I am keen to grow this site if you have any ideas or contributions to Surfing please go to the Contact
