One Day
From front door to outdoor
What is the best way to spend your day? What are your favourite trips?
How far? Two hours? Or one hour and a break? One hour more?…
- Is it a home-made picnic (with help from the supermarket)? Perhaps a game of frisbee? Or footie?
- Playground safari with picnic taking in four of your favourites in the local area?
- Is there a fete happening near you? Perhaps a fete safari if there are several.
- Where is your easiest walk? Park? Beach? Area of outstanding Natural Beauty?
- Maybe a bike ride (do you want to hire a bike in a favourite place?) or roller blades or crazy golf for the children?
- Will Grandparents, or friends be joining you?
- If it’s going to rain, is there a cinema or soft play you can head to?
- Have the indoor tent making equipment ready at home.

A good Christmas gift
Are you going to treat yourselves to National Trust? English Heritage site? Woodlands Trust? Wet Lands? Zoo? Outdoors Museum?

Where are the...
safe and easy bike rides from your home? Are you sorted with ways to transport your bikes? Have you discovered Sustrans, Kamoot, Apps, Twitter, FB? Or Canals and Rivers?
First things, last
Without wanting to dictate ‘military tactics’ one of the ‘tricks’ is to start at the end of the day and work backwards towards ‘ish-timates’.
