Cardio Go Go

Walking is free as are most of the places you can do it.  From the news to magazines and apps galore we are informed about the benefits of healthy living. Some of the most common advise is ’30 minutes of cardio vascular exercise a day’ will keep us physically and mentally tuned up. It gives us all a head start on keeping our weight down, and later helps ward off heart disease and high blood pressure.

Even if I start a walk in a can’t-be-bothered grump, I end, in a good mood, from the buzz created by endorphins released with exercise. I may not be floating off holding onto balloons but I’m feeling much more ‘up’.
